Tool Mirrors:
Since Hub Finder uses the Yahoo! API it is limited to 5,000 daily uses per IP address. Software that is web based makes all of it's queries from one IP. Thanks to the following sites for mirroring Hub Finder 2.0:
History:
- Version 1.0: Tracked pages which linked to two or more related resources which you entered.
- Version 2.0: lots of new features
- variety of ways to cross reference sites
- allows you to enter authority sites
- allows you to grab the top results from Yahoo! Search API
- allows you to mix and match
- allows forced inclusion, to check for only pages that link to a specific page or site, which also link to other related resources
- allows you to create a CSV output file
- allows you to select minimum number of matching sites and search depth to help filter out noise
- variety of ways to cross reference sites
- Version 3.0: Google API & Highlighting
- Now works with Google API, so you can grab the common Yahoo! backlinks from sites that are in the top 10 rankings in Google for a particular keyword. Allows you to select Google, Yahoo! Search, or both. You still can just manually enter resources if you like.
- Highlighting of result set now added, using DHTML which allows you to highlight a column / site to see what some potential hub pages just linking at that resource.
- I think I might also ask Mike to optionally add a counter to each row.
